Hello,
i have an iPhone 5S running IOS 8.1.2 and an iMac running Mac OS 10.10.2.
Contacts are synced between the two.

If I go to the task bar on my iPhone (double press of the home button) I see a
list of recently called phone contacts. this list includes just the first name
such as "Bob". Unfortunately I phone two different people called "bob" so I am
not sure which Bob is which. Is it possible to add nicknames to my contacts so
that people with the same first name can be distinguished? Note that I would
not want the nickname to appear in any email I sent to that contact!

I had a look at contacts and could see no obvious way to do this but I
understand that Siri will let me say "call mum" where presumably 'mum' is a
nick name.

Many thanks.
