Hello, I have an iPhone 5S which is about 6 months old and which is currently running IOS 8.3.
TouchID worked well for the first 4 months or so, but alas is now unreliable. If I register a new fingerprint it works fine for about 2 days and then the finger print is no longer recognised. Do any listers have tips on the best way to position fingers or thumbs during the initial fingerprint registration or any other tips on how to make touchID reliable. I have tried cleaning the home button with a dry cloth and also tried registering the same finger several times as if they were all different fingers. Would it help to clean the home button in some other way? Many thanks for any tips. TouchID is great while it works! Do any other listers have problems with TouchID on iPhone 5S? Is TouchID on iPhone 6 reliable? Best regards….
