I don't agree with everything he says, but he makes a number of excellent points (and he sure is thorough). If you make it through the review, be sure to read the Discussions page at the end, where some well-informed readers dispute a few of John's opinions. Two helpful tips I picked up from John's review: 1. Version 10.1 makes it possible to navigate OS X without a mouse, including the Dock and menus. Explore the keyboard pane in the System Preferences. 2. Before, you could use Command (Apple) + TAB to cycle through applications on the Dock. Now you can also click on Q or H (to Quit or Hide) applications while holding down Command +TAB.
