That does seem like a problem.
This going back a bit but as I remember the tutorials that come with REALbasic are really easy to follow and are a good way to get going. The online help in the editor is quite good too. My advice...Just go for it!
However I'm going to give it a try so would like someone to do a few demos
etc.
I'm sure that once you start playing with it some ideas for applications will pop up.
