Perhaps you should just accept that the comment is true.
I actually think its a pretty big concern because Apple has been steadily diversifying the interface instead of making it more consistent. I certainly do hope that they fix things a little by the time the next updates roll around. I'm personally hoping for better stability of apps (Safari and Dashboard are unstable for starters) and better actual usability in the interface (Dashboard is just plain rushed) before I expect any of the aesthetic issues to be fixed (if ever).
