I've been following this mailling for a few days now...
RAM Direct is not canadian, so the price is in US$, which look
interesting at first, but is not! :)
Historucally, I've bought so far my memory directly from Crucial. I
bought them, last year a 512meg module for my PB12" and it cost me
just under 200$ including shipping, custom, etc.
If their 1gig module were not that expensive at that time, I would
have bought the 1gig!
About Canada RAM, they don't always say which company's module they
sold, are they generic RAM?

I have used Ram Direct but not OWC. I have read good things about
them (OWC) from other list members, I have personal experience with
Ram Direct. Otherwise not knowing where you live in Canada I
couldn't point you in the direction of a retailer that you could
purchase from.
