I am in the process of transcribing data from web pages. I wonder if there is any software that will put a tag, or some such thing, on the text I am working on when I have to shut down for the night. Sort of like making a checkmark on the page, so that when I startup the computer the next day I can find where I left off.

Any suggestions welcome.

Hi Donna:

Perhaps you could copy some of the content at the point you leave off, save that in a text document and when you restart, copy that text and paste it into the browser search field.

Or you might just leave your computer on?

Cheers,
David
