Hi,

I am not the only one the think your cable (and printer) is (are)
serial.
Windows xp still support serial printing (at least up to sp1)
I did not install sp2 yet.

This is very slow by modern standard.

An "old" parallel or usb printer will be easier to setup & use
(I still have some serial ribbon 9 pins printers, so I understand ;-)  )
