Seriously, how much space did the basic install take up? It's useful to know
as I've always done just the default install from 10.2.

I managed to install 10.2 *with* the BSD subsystem (needed it as it was to be a server) and no localization packs (language packs) and it went into 1286MB (according to the installer). Works fine.
