Aha. To answer my own point, I have been to see Xpostfacto before. It has slightly confusing comments which put me off before, such as comments like "can work with catalyst models" (e.g. 8200) but "does not work with 601" (e.g. 8200). I can tell it is likely to be a huge waste of time anyway though I am curious to know if anyone has got OSX working on a pre USB G3 Powerbook though.
