I know the problem. It can be hard to keep focused when something interesting comes along. I've spent far too long exchanging emails with some retro computer collectors - things almost seemed more fun back then. Windows has no soul and if you are not careful it can feel as though that's all there is to computing. That's probably why I spend so much time trying to work with Linux and have now collected a selection of older Macs - and am likely to be getting one capable running OS X soon, which was the initial goal! The question is, have you spent time opening up an Amiga and lovingly removed the battery to prevent damage from leakage, or cleaned up the residue in an attempt to breath new life into the machine?!
