Forgive my ignorance, but how do you network a printer? The one connected to my CRT iMac is what we use at present and I have another connected to a PC, but the iMac has to be on for the printer to be accessible.
Thanks for any advice.

I've had a Netgear DG824 for over a year, superb, never an issue - always
run 2 machines and printer to it on Ethernet and at least one Powerbook,
usually two or 3 on Wireless.
