Hi all

Done a slightly silly thing: having obtained some G4 install/restore disks
in German, as part of a bid to upgrade the OS on my clamshell iBook from 8.6
to 9 or above, I installed the German OS (9.0.4), hoping there was a way of
getting it to display in English.

As I had a disk image for 9.1, my plan was to update the installation as
soon as I'd installed it. Except that when I went to update, the dialog box
tells me it won't update the German OS - only an International English one.

Any bright ideas as to the simplest way out of this? The iBook is of course
perfectly usable, provided either you've memorised most applications' menus
or you speak good German. But, Brit pedant as I am, I'd rather prefer it in
English ...

Help in simple English for a simple non-techie gratefully received :)

Danke

Russ
