Sometimes, when one is busy or in a hurry, one just doesn't notice the time discrepancy until someone points it out - I've had this happen to me a few times with my G3 iMac. I have a battery, but have not worked up the courage to replace the old one; leaving the iMac plugged in seems to keep the time right and I'm now using my G5 iMac for mail.

A polite request, could you all make sure your clocks are set to the correct
time, date and year? It can be very confusing to be with such a large inbox
to have to sort through and find emails from those of you who have the
incorrect date and time and therefore the email comes through wrong.
Thanks a lot!
YEAH, and brush your teeth after each meal while you're at it!
