You can get a program to change the region but it would probably be
easier to make it region free. I recommend doing a google for the
relevant drive firmware or there may be other apps to do it. Have you
tried it in panther??

Any idea where I can change the region? I thought it only prompted
for it to be changed when a DVD of a different region was put in.
I might be mistaken though, hunted through the menus a few times
for the option.
