I still use SoftWindows 98 (an earlier version of which was in that issue
of Byte) on my iBook, but it's only used to run one application - a
support database application that I had to use at my old job about 6/7
years ago and ended up bringing with me. One day I'll get all the data
exported. Thinking about it...

OSX Panther --> OS9 Classic --> SoftWindows 98 --> 16 bit Windows 3.1
support application

...is a pretty good combination of operating systems, real and emulated
:-). Thank goodness I don't need to run the software very often - the
last time I benchmarked SoftWindows it was seeing the laptop (G3 800MHz)
as a Pentium MMX of 150MHz, with no graphics acceleration.

And to think that I won't be able to run this app under Rosetta...how
dare they! ;-)
