Well it shouldn't be long till 4.2 comes and there will invariably be a QT (QTPro) bug fix as well...I have heard the builds are around 40-50 MB now so there has to be something that they are fixing! I have also heard recently the QTPro doesn't deal with Colour correctly right now either...seems there is a lot to work out... As an aside, I remember a discussion about a year or two ago on the iBook list about VM and OS X and IIRC X is supposed to be far better than 9 for dealing with this and can run almost without any HD space...can't recall exactly how the discussion went though...(age and lack of Entourage spotlight plugin ;-) Any thoughts anyone on this? I remember that in 10.0 or thereabouts I saw people recommending formatting the disks for a dedicated swap partition and istructions on how to point X to know this but thereafter it was deemed unnecessary...
