What machines/os are you networking with?
There's quite a good site http://www.atpm.com/network/ that explains
networking quite well, though not sure how well it covers os x and
pre-os x networking.
I've got an SE/30 networked hooked up to a wireless modem/router (by
Ethernet) and it shows up on my iBook (with os x) and vice versa.
Though I haven't been able to access the folders on the iBook from the
SE/30 it works fine the other way around.
I see Stuart Bell is already sending you the network access disk, but
there is a link at http://home.earthlink.net/~gamba2/syslist.html if
you scroll down the page. Lots of good stuff there for older Macs as
well.
If you'd asked about the Pivot card a year ago I would have jumped at
the chance. Sadly problems of space forced me to get rid of the pivot
monitor.
Good luck with the network.

At loooong last, we have installed our Asante Ethernet Card in our

here? Just for the postage, which should not be much.)
We are struggling to get communication going, on our network, although
the SE/30 does illuminate a light on the hub, so we know that it
exists! Any suggestions would be most gratefully received.
Would it be possible, or even sensible, to upgrade from System 7.0 to
7.5.3, or what would you advise? It has 8MB RAM.
