Why risk a mess?
You need the newest version. I believe you will find that either it will not
run or it will not actually do anything when it gets to the stage of
replacing the disk directory.
I had to upgrade DiskWarrior from 3 to 3.01 or was it 3.1 for panther.

To use ANY disk repair utility on a newer Mac OS than it was made for is to
invite big trouble imo - though Alsoft take pains to protect users from
losing their data unlike TechTool who have recently had to quickly offer a
patch after it caused data loss on new Mac OS for their users.
