That's a fair point.

However most bits of software will state the requirements to run optimally. I feel that it is very important for users to know what configuration of machine that they will need to have, so that they can get the software to run well. I want to avoid having users coming back to us stating that they cannot get ooo to run nicely on the minimum spec because they have less than some recommended spec.
