I thought that many people would have this opinion. Though I do

that goes on.
Just because we don't program doesn't mean we don't find the
discussions interesting. I think the move to Cocoa is particularly
interesting and might insipire the odd person to try their hand.
Thanks for educating a little more.
AnnI have been using the milestone releases of the Aqua version. I
like it much better than the X11 version and have had very few
problems with it. I'm looking forward to it using the native
printing dialogue - soon, I hope.
Unfortunately the good-day server wouldn't cope with the demand
with all the aqua milestones and all the interest that would be
generated. The mirror and bittorrent networks are needed (at least
for the most commonly requested builds).
I don't remember Maho complaining about lack of bandwidth and as he
already posts to the release list this wouldn't seem to be an issue.
IIRC he was simply running out of harddisk space.
Nor do I. I have just found downloading from good-day quite slow
compared to other sites/ooo mirrors. That's where I got my (possibly
bad assertion from). Maybe it is due to me being half way around the
world from Japan?
Eric Bachard kindly provided me a link to the most recent build he
has and I was very impressed. The speed at which OO.org for Aqua has
come along in the last couple of months is staggering.
Great. It is always nice to hear some good/positive feed back.
