Hi all,
I've just compiled m238 on my MacIntel Tiger with X11. Apparently,
everything went according to plan, I mean the build went straight
through to completion.
However, after having installed the app via the installation mechanism
(drag drop on Applications folder), it refuses to start when I
double-click on it.
I tried starting it directly from a terminal. I get the following
error
message :
"Permission denied". If I try it as sudo, I get "file does not exist",
even if I start it explicitly with sh ./soffice from the Contents
directory.
So I opened up the soffice file in TextEdit and it all showed up as
binary junk. What went wrong ?
TIA for any pointers.
Alex
