Eric h. ;
I think you're on the right track with the -P2 v -P4; as I was using
a copied build line of "build --all -P4" [from the wiki inst.] with
the added " --html --html_path /Users/russellm/Sites" so I could watch
the build status easily.
I'm doing a clean pull right now, and will try to build again, but
will replace P4 with P2 [I'm going to keep a virgin copy of the pull
this time]. It looks like one of the things I can contribute is
tracking down WHY I had [have] so much trouble on 10.5.1 with the
build [I built on 10.4.11, dual 2.0Ghz G4, with NO problems].

PS ANY suggestion/instructions, thoughts on how to track this/these
issues down MORE than welcome.

Maybe a parallel build issue, or extensions not completed +

My tip is that it's a parallel build issue and maybe one on PPC
only. Here on my Intel Mac Mini OOH680_m4 builds fine for me with
build --all -P2 but -P4 is somewhat wacky.
But I really wonder why you encounter all these issues.
Maybe by now his sources are so messed up that he should do a clean
checkout and start over again.
@Russell, did you do do a "dmake" clean and run a simple dmake as I
adviced you earlier? This this takes longer as a build --all -P4
but would help us break down if your issues are parallel build
issues or *real* issues in the code.
I saw that Russell also uses cchache. Could there be wrong/bad code
in ccache?

Eric
