A year ago Hamrick Software, maker of VueScan, told me there was a bug in
the beige G3s that made the beige G3s unable to use SCSI with OSX.

Now in the latest version's release notes, I see this:
"Note that the driver for the beige G3 built-in SCSI has bugs on Mac OS X
10.1 which have been fixed in 10.2."

I don't think I had tried VueScan since I got Jaguar, so I turned on the
Epson SCSI scanner and did a cold boot. No luck for me. Neither Profiler nor
VueScan could see the scanner. Maybe others will do better.
