I've been using Thunderbird since it came out.

To me, it seems more intuitive, easier to configure, easier to set up 
for multiple accounts and has a spam filter that works wonders.

The only way to see if you'll like it is to try it. And I think you'll 
like it.

While you're at it, check out the web browser, Firefox.
