Rex,

Have not tried Thunderbird, but I use Eudora and it works very, very well. I 
tried using Mail when I installed OSX, but it works sporactically, and when it 
doesn't work, no error messages or explanations as to why it isn't connecting 
to the mail server. Needless to say I'm not impressed with the Mail software.
