Hey Folks,

I just came across a great little *free* application which makes OS X's
Mail.app much nicer to use: The Unread. It puts a menu item in the
menubar which not only says how much mail has come it, but in which mail
folder(s) the mail can be found.

So... if you have mail rules to shunt mail from the inbox to a Place It
Really Belongs (for instance, for mailing lists or messages from
relatives), you now can see which folders have mail quickly, and open up
the folders quickly, all without taking any space on the desktop. A real
help!

Best of all: free.
