As I've pointed out several times over the past month or so, the
BellSouth.net mail gremlins are capricious. For some reason, they
choose to either fail to answer or reject connections, seemingly at
random. Because of this, some mail from this list is not being
reliably delivered to subscribers with BellSouth.net addresses.

It gets worse.

The Mailman software used to run this list automatically unsubscribes
what it considers to be invalid addresses. If there are too many
rejections in a row from the BellSouth.net servers, it will remove
the rejected addresses from the roster. If you have a BellSouth.net
address, and this list suddenly disappears from your emailbox, then
you may have been cut off by Mailman. If this happens, just
resubscribe and hope the gremlins don't bite you again.
