When I'm using my Macbook and initiate Time Machine, I get a fancy screen with a Finder window. In the background there are stars moving towards me and a yellow vortex/black hole animation.
When hooked up to my 20" LCD, Time Machine only shows a static "space" background. No moving stars, not "vortex". Everything seems to function fine, except the eye candy. Can anyone else duplicate this, or heard of this? Rick
