Well, the problem with that is that both volumes go away
  if I unmount the "JBoD_1" item from the Finder.
Again, Terminal is where the dupe problem shows up, and
  the Finder only shows the "JBoD_1" icon, and not anything
  for the "JBoD_1 1" mount, but this second one is the where
  all of the apparent correct data is located (in Terminal), but
  the "JBoD_1" mount is the one with the dupe directories.
