Lee, I have removed my 2.5 ATA hard drive from the dead iBook. I don't understand how the adaptor works.
Do I need the power brick? If so, how does it connect? I can con the adaptor to the drive and when I plug the usb cable into the usb port the red light on the adaptor lights up. I can hear the drive mechanism but the drive never mounts on the desk top. Any thoughts?
