We had an older G5 that locked up recently so the end user pulled the plug on it, then it wouldn’t restart. I had them unplug the power cord from the back of the computer and then plug it back in. Immediately the power light on the front came on even though the power button had not been pressed.... Anyone seen this type of behavior before?

I have a G5 in my office that was being unpredictably flakey on startup. I replaced the main board battery and all is now well.
