Insight does not support IMAP, only POP3. That's the main reason why I have no use for Insight mail. Gmail supports IMAP, although Google's handling of mailboxes takes a little getting used to. Gmail does not really support mailboxes in a standard way. They fake it by putting labels on individual mail messages. Apple's mail has built-in smarts to handle it.
