Silverlight used to get used for streaming media.

You might try using Chrome instead of Safari. I say this because Amazon pops up 
the same message when trying to use their streaming library on my Mac. 

FWIW, the last time I downloaded it on my Mac, it caused all sorts of bad 
behavior.... lockups, beachballs, etc. Upon removal, my Mac was back to normal.

Don't install it.
