Don't see any major problems Bas , the 7i76 cards work flawlessly , using
pc's inside electrical control cabnets are fine ,
just take the usual precautions if there are any high voltages or high
amperage switches , relays etc

i.e keeping low voltage wiring seperate from mains or high currents ,

I have been using pc's in cabinets for a few years now with machinekit ,
never had any problems

just be mindful if their are any 3 phase chokes or transformers close by ,
but overall just standard common sense works lol
