the linked working image is not the default password, so after shrinking it 
to 4gb size as followed by here:
http://www.aoakley.com/articles/2015-10-09-resizing-sd-images.php
(you ignore the instructions relating to a first partition, theres only one 
in a beaglebone, but start sector is still relevant instructions)

I got it working with an unknown password, Then by following the following, 
I got it to work eventually

Now to configure it all.
