OK to expand on my OP

Trying to install machinekit Buster on an Rpi3B
Starting here

Following section9 : 
9. Debian Buster on armhf

Apt  successful
RT from here
https://github.com/guysoft/RealtimePi

Install runtime packages : Fail

Missing dependency
yapps2-runtime ( non existent package in Debian)

I'm guessing that the arm machinekit package has not been built with the 
necessary updates to  <python-yapps>

???
