Everything worked well with my MIH120 Macsense router for
almost a year. Then my cable connection dropped this
week. Seems Router is not sending IP address correctly.
Did almost all the items on macsense web site, "Basic
Knowlege" for this problem. Reset router many times.
Two macs/3 windoz machines with PCMacLan worked
wonderfully.

Now one Mac doesn't show up in chooser and PCLan's PC
server reports that this absent Mac is absent there, too,
when it is really up and on. I did ask the Router to
revert to default software, thinking this may reset some
of the items and wonder if that affected the
establishment of IP addresses. (Wonder if I have to
reinstall 8,6 to get appletalk to function again?)I think
the router is sending errors (The cable company told me
it was not taking their IP...when cable modem connected
directly to G3 it works perfectly...IP address is very
weird for the problem mac (169.xxxx), but didn't used to
be. Do I have to access the Router from each
client?...had not thought of that...

Am removing REalPlayer Basic program because it appears
to change browser settings, although not sure that is
related.

Any help appreciated. G3, Beige, 288 RAM, OS9.2,
ethernet network.
