I'm attempting to connect a Color Classic (sys 7.1) to our small business network (all macs) via ethernet. I have the Asante ethernet card installed, and the driver. It connects to the network, but when I try to mount a computer that has OS 9.1 installed, the chooser quits. It will connect to the other lone system 7.x. If I upgrade the system software to 7.5 will that allow me to mount a computer with 9 on it? We would like to use the classic as a word processing station and save the Word files to the G3B&W that is our server (OS8.6).
