I know it is what I need. I also NEED to have a WAP that supports Appletalk. Anybody
have a preferred brand/model to recommend for 802.11b? Preferrably something I can
get cheap? Thanks.

My Netgear MR314 wireless router allows me to see my AppleShare v4.01 server (not IP) with my iBook G4 (OS 10.3.3) over the wireless link. I can also print to a laserwriter IIf connected to the server via localtalk bridge.
The switch portion of routers generally will allow AppleTalk devices such as printers and older servers without problem, it's the wireless side that you need to find compatible devices.
Macsense wireless routers are supposed to be compatible, and I've heard Asante routers are as well. Of course, an Airport base station is perfect.
