Many thanks to all who chimed in with advice. To answer some of your queries in no particular order, I am in South Jersey, not New York. I would love to peruse the contents of the hard drive and fill them with Paris Hilton JPEGS, but I can't access them. My sidewalk appears unmarked so far, although I will be perusing my neighbors a bit more closely. I have enabled WEP and this seems to have shaken off the interloper. He no longer appears in the DHCP list. However, in my log there still is a notation that a wireless PC is connected. (My Airport is turned off.) I will reset the router and see if I can erase that last vestige.
Now, I have one pressing problem. With WEP enabled, I can't use Airport. I'll scour D-Link's site, but I figured that I might impose upon your kindness again if anybody knew the answer right off. Thanks again.
