Still no luck. I have tried the Apple guidelines the double quotes " _"
and the $ sign, but there are still differences between the two. I may
have to give up and not use the wireless connection in this setup. Any
successful users out there?

I have an SMC 7004VWBR wireless router that I want to setup a password
on. But, I can't seem to figure out how to get my PowerBook(g) and
iBook(b) to come up with a compatible password. The SMC is a bit old,
so it's only a "b". And, the setup routine is really geared for
Windows users.
Any help?
