I have seen a similar problem with my Wallstreet running 9.2.2. The Wallstreet up and running, but it doesn't always show up under Network.
Am I correct in assuming that the Macs which cannot see it are running OS X? Try this: On the 8100, open your File Sharing control panel and confirm that File Sharing is indeed on, and that TCP/IP is enabled for File Sharing. You should see there the Mac's URL, which will be something like afp://10.0.1.4 Switching to an OSX Mac, go to Finder:Go:Connect To Server and enter the URL directly. As an aside, you didn't really upgrade the deficient 8.6, did you? You did a clean install? -- Robert MacLeay on 3/9/05 3:29 PM, l s at [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > I added a PowerMac 8100 (w/ a G3 upgrade 232 MB ram) > to the Apple Talk network in my classroom.
