Hi gang,

Relative network newbie here. The most involved "network" I've ever created was four Macs daisy-chained together via ethernet, using Farallon EtherWave transceivers.

Now I want to connect my B&W, PowerCenter Pro, 9600, and (soon to be G3) PowerBook 1400c to the same network via my DSL wireless gateway/router. The 1400 has an Orinoco Gold card, but none of my other Macs are rigged for wi-fi yet. How do I go about building a "mixed" network? The B&W (OS X Panther) is connected via ethernet, and the 1400 (OS 9.1) via the Orinoco; they can both see the DSL and get online, but I can't get them to see each other via AppleTalk. What am I missing?
