Hi all,
First post to this list - I have learnt heaps by lurking here for some time.
My problem is this -
I have a B&W G3 running 10.3.9 connected to an Epson Stylus 830U printer by USB. I have a generic XP box connected to the B&W via a 10BaseT hub and cabling.
I can't print to the Epson from the XP box.
Everything else works perfectly. They (and the other computers) share the broadband connection perfectly, and can see each other via Samba. The B&W acts as a software router for the network. The only thing that doesn't seem to work is the printer sharing, and it has me baffled.
Of course, I do have Printer sharing turned on, and the appropriate drivers installed on the XP box.
I also have a Laserwriter IIg networked to all of the macs, but I don't really expect the XP box to be able to see it, as it is an Ethertalk printer. Any ideas?
Once I get this worked out, I have another question to do with wireless, but that later....
