The LaserWriter Bridge software will only bridge to laserwriters (or, I
believe, other AppleTalk printers). The LocalTalk bridge that you are
using will bridge to any localtalk device. So you can use it for
printers, or file sharing, or whatever localtalk needs you have.

In your case, since you only want to bridge to a printer, it makes no
difference which you use.

However, IIRC, the LaserWriter Bridge software does not work with Open
Transport. And OS 9 does not work with Classic Networking... so you can't
use that version anyway (nor would you want to even if you could, as
AppleShare over TCP/IP, which you need for file sharing to Tiger, does
not work over Classic Networking... so you want/need to use Open
Transport, which limits you to the more powerful LocalTalk Bridge
software that you are currently using)
