After a hiatus of several years, the event is back and bigger than ever

Bloomberg reports that after years of being on hiatus, MacFair is returning to
Southern California on Saturday, Nov. 16 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. for a one day mega
Macintosh event.

Keith Mueller, the event's organizer noted, "The support of the Mac community has been
incredible. Our exhibitors and presenters are thrilled to finally have a MacFair in
Southern California, home of the largest population of Macintosh users in the world."

More than 30 exhibitors are participating in MacFair 2002. Companies include Apple,
Aladdin, MYOB, Movieworks, MacSolutionExperts.com, MCE Technologies, ProVue
Development, CoolMacStuff.com, ADS, ProMax Systems and Excellisys.

Additionally, more than 18 informative seminars are scheduled at MacFair 2002
including presentations X.2, digital video presentations, including both video and
audio production, CD and DVD authoring, database development, small business
solutions, Mac programming, and desktop publishing.

The largest Macintosh show in the southwestern US will be held at Cerritos College --
just a short drive from all major California freeways. Admission at the door is $15
(cash only); parking is free. Advance online registration price is $10 (save $5,
credit cards accepted) with discount code NP-1.

Editor's note: The revival of this event is a reminder of the unique times the Mac
universe is currently experiencing. If you live in Southern California, be sure to
attend and take a potential switcher with you.
