Much like yesterday's 'Double Your Memory' you'll need to read the fine print and shop
around a bit
Apple's marketing people are at it again and they have promulgated a new promotion --
"Power Couple". The deal offers PowerMac and PowerBook buyers a $200 to $400 rebate
(mail-in), depending on which model is purchased. Eligible displays are the 17, 22 or
23 inch models. The 15-inch, which is rumored to be EOL, isn't included.
Here's Apple spiel:
Buy a qualifying Power Mac or PowerBook between October 11, 2002 and December 31, 2002.
� Save $400 when you buy a dual-1.25GHz PowerMac or an 800MHz PowerBook.
� Save $300 when you buy a dual-1GHz G4 or a 667MHz PowerBook.
� Save $200 when you buy a dual-867MHz G4.
Apple's rebate coupon, which includes the fine print, can be downloaded here.
Editor's note: A few minutes of directed searching will likely yield more savings if
you're not married to the idea of LCD with an ADC connector.
