Review: MYOB AccountEdge 3

AccountEdge from MYOB was the first small business accounting software available for
Mac OS X. Version 3 continues on, but with a little competition from QuickBooks 5.
If you're like me you despise bookkeeping, but if you're a small business owner, it's
part of the job. For years I used QuickBooks Pro and recently decided to move over to
AccountEdge from MYOB. The biggest reason was I wanted a Mac OS X accounting package,
and QuickBooks Pro 4 was not only long in the tooth, but an OS 9 only application. I
had been recommending AccountEdge to people for close to two years after I saw it in
person at its Macworld launch. Even with QuickBooks 5 on the horizon, I figured it was
time to follow my own advice and move over to AccountEdge.
