Adobe Offers $150 Rebates with 'Work Smart' Promo

OS X upgrade/full versions of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator qualify.
Adobe has introduced its http://www.adobe.com/special/worksmart/main.html 'Work Smart'
promo, offering discounts of up to $US150 when you buy two of its products. Eligible
products are:
Adobe After Effects
Adobe Photoshop�
Adobe GoLive
Adobe Premiere
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Design Collection
Adobe InDesign
Adobe Web Collection
To be eligible, buyers must spend at least $349 ($CAN 540) and register online. This
will qualify you for a $75 mail-in rebate. Spend $749 ($CAN 1,160), and receive a $150
rebate.
The promotion applies to both upgrade and full versions of Adobe software, and runs 1
February through 30 April, 2003. At least one product must be registered online in
order to qualify. The promotion is valid on products purchased either at Adobe's
online store, or from resellers.
Adobe notes that rebates may take up to 8 weeks to process. The promotion is available
only in the US and Canada.
Analysis: If you've been wanting to try out InDesign or Photoshop X, this is a
reasonable deal, particularly for users who qualify for upgrades. We wonder why
Acrobat isn't included in the promo though [maybe because version 5.0 is such a
bug-fest].
